NARRATIVE GALLERY

This gallery showcases my work as both Director of Photography and Gaffer on various projects, highlighting the visual language, lighting design, and storytelling choices that shaped each project. From crafting atmospheres with light to capturing performances with intention, these images reflect the collaborative and technical aspects of bringing written stories to life.

ROMCHYK (UK/Ukraine) CINEMATOGRAPHY

Romchyk is a short film that follows a young Ukrainian boy navigating the harsh realities of displacement during the ongoing war, capturing his resilience and fragile innocence amid chaos. With a tender observational style, the film offers an intimate glimpse into childhood shaped by conflict and uncertainty.

Tijeras, Palomas y Bajo Mundo (CUBA) CINEMATOGRAPHY

The film follows Nayer, a trans artist in Havana, as she navigates memories, family conflict, and the power of performance. Blending the personal and the political, it reflects on identity, resilience, and the search for freedom.

EL SECADERO (CUBA) Cinematography

In 1993 Havana, Officer Mario and his partner Camacho are forced to confront a grotesque serial killer when they discover the severed head of a fallen colleague, leading them on a bizarre and dangerous trail into Havana’s underworld. What begins as a grim task becomes surreal and absurd as corruption, power, and the underground clash in a city where logic unravels.

DOWN THE LANE (UK) Gaffer

A story that follows Alexander’s final moments through memories of his childhood, just before a traffic accident. The film’s lighting is defined by naturalism and a search for the dreamlike within its locations.

Chivalry (UK) Gaffer

Chivalry is a modern comedy that follows the misadventures of a young woman after her date steals her purse.
